Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction took over the apartment construction contract in Sinjeong Zone

Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction(HHIC)(CEO Song Hwayeong) announced that it took over the construction project for apartment complex 1 and 4 in Sinjeong Zone in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the 15th of this month. The construction project of SH Corporation will be conducted independently by HHIC. The contract price is about 105.6 billion Won.

The project is to build 24 apartment buildings with maximum 13 floors on the ground and 3 underground floors on the area of 151,415㎡. The apartment will be built in the Public Rental Housing Site in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul until July 2001.

HHIC took over the apartment construction project in Cheonwang Zone in Guro-gu, Seoul on Nov. 25, of which the contract price was 95.5 billion Won. As consecutively taking over the housing construction projects, HHIC strives to secure the stable quantity of government projects.

Meanwhile, HHIC was recognized with its technological ability as participating in the construction of Hanjin Town in Dongsomun, Seoul, the largest redevelopment project in Korea, the new town construction works including Budang and Ilsan and large-scale reconstruction and redevelopment project in Seoul, Gwangmyeong and Busan. Pushed into the brand apartment business with the launch of “Haemoro”, the eco-friendly apartment brand, in 2006, HHIC has been devoting to strengthen the competence in housing construction industry.
