HJ Shipbuilding & Construction (HJSC) which won a prize in Smart Home at 2022 Asia Business Daily Apartment Brand Awards is the parent company of Hanjin Heavy Industries that has led high-tech construction industries such as Incheon International Airport for the past half century. The company was renamed in January, and its apartment brand ‘HAEMORO’ was renewed for the first time in 16 years in March. The emblem of ‘HAEMORO’ was designed in two different colors: light green, dark green. The 6 slant lines simply represent the absorption and scattering of light. ‘HAEMORO’ symbolizes ‘sunshine house in perfect harmony between high tech and nature’. 

Under such brand philosophy, HJSC unveiled ‘YEONDONG HAEMORO LUMIN’ at Jeju in March. Because of new design and brand philosophy, the average subscription rate stood at 27 to 1, and all apartment units were sold. In addition, Gumi HAEMORO River City is scheduled to go on bunyang (pre-build sales through viewing houses) at Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do in June. The purpose of this project is to reconstruct Gongdan Jugong Apartment 4-Danji. A total of 756 units in preferred small sizes (84㎡ or smaller in area of exclusive use space) will be constructed. This eco-friendly apartment complex is close to Nakdonggang River Sports Park and the Gumi National Industrial Complex. It is the first time for HJSC to build HAEMORO apartment complex in Gumi. An official from the global construction company said that they made their best efforts to make the apartments more attractive and livable.
